In this work, I portrayed freediver Tatyana Afanasyeva. In my series of works featuring people in water, I explore the theme of the unity between humans and the element of water, emphasizing the strength of the human spirit, physical self-improvement, and self-discovery. The depth of the water symbolizes the depth of immersion into the hidden corners of the soul in search of answers to fundamental questions. In this work, I also continue to study the theme of underwater distortions and the refraction of light.
